The following table gives statistics showing the aspects of quality of life in five countries.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparisons where relevant.
The table provides a summary of various countries' standards of living by using four factors of quality which are GNP per head, daily calorie intake, life expectancy, and infant mortality. Overall, the USA is the most developed country among given countries, while Bangladesh is the least developed one.
Firstly, it is clearly seen from the table that the GNP of the USA is almost twice as much as that of Egypt, with 13160 dollars per head. The USA's infant mortality, 12 deaths per 1000 live births, is coherent with the country's life expectancy which is the highest on the table with 74 years.
Bolivia, Indonesia, and Egypt have similar statistics from four given aspects. Despite the fact that Egypt posseses higher infant deaths than Indonesia does, this country has the highest quality of life among these three countries.
The table also presents the reality that Bangladesh has the lowest rates of the first three indexes and the highest numbers of infant mortality. This country's GNP score is only one-tenth of the USA's GNP score, and even a close glance at the table shows that a Bangladeshi's daily calorie supply is barely more than half of an American's daily calorie supply.
