The pie chart illustrates the amount of the revenue sources and expenditures of a children's charity in the USA during the year 2016. It is measured in percentages. Overall, it can be seen that donated food was the main source of income whereas program services was the major expenditures of the charity.
To begin, it is clear that the revenue sources were generated by different kinds of incomes and the major source was the Donated Foods with 86,6% which was far larger than other incomes. The second largest source was Community Contributions with 10,4% and it was followed by Program Revenue with 2,2%. However, investment income, government grants and other incomes took a minor place in the pie chart with 0,8% of the total revenue source.
Children's charity had expenditures among which Program Services covered took the lion's share with 95,6% and it was far larger than the proportions of Fundraising and Management and general, with 2,6% and 1,6%, respectively. It is evident that the total amount of money of revenue sources were higher than the quantity of expenditures.
In conclusion, when we take the total income and outcome balance into consideration, we can readily notice that the charity had around 300,000 dollars of revenue profit, in the year 2016.
