The diagram presents the manufacture of chocolate. Overall, in the process, there are 10 stages at a total, beginning with growing of the pods on the cacoa trees and culminating in the production of chocolate.

To begin, cacao comes from the cacao trees that are grown in South American and African continents and the country of Indonesia. When the pods become ripe and red, they are harvested and the white cacao beans are removed from pods. After a period of fermentation, the beans are spread out on the tray to dry in the sun. Next, they are put in large sacks and taken to factories by trains or lorries which carry the sacks in their large cases.

In the factory, the beans are roasted at a temperature of 350 degrees before they are crushed in a turning turbine to remove the outer shell of them. When they are seperated from their shells, the inner part is pressed in the final stage, and as a result the liquid chocolate is produced at the end of this process.
