The given line graph shows the number of visitors arriving in the United Kingdom and indigenous people travelling abroad over a period between 1979 and 1999. Additionally, the bar chart depicts the countries which were frequently visited by the British in the year 1999. Overall, there was an increase in both arrival of visitors as well as departure of the UK residents over this period. France was the most favorite destination while Turkey was the least visited country by the Great Britain people in 1999.

To begin, In 1979, 10 million overseas residents made a trip to the UK while around 12 million the UK people went abroad. From 1979 to 1985 there was a slight increase in the number of tourists by around 2 million which was almost twice as many as the number of visits to abroad made by the natives. Thereafter, in the next 15 years, the number of UK people travelling abroad rose sharply to reach slightly above 50 million, around 5 times more than the number in 1979. Similarly, the number of visitors received by the UK increased steadily to reach nearly 3 times more than the figures in the end of 1999 .

In the year 1999, approximately 11 million the UK nationals traveled to their popular destination, France. The next favorite country, Spain, received around 9 million people holding British passport .The visits to the USA, Greece and Turkey were all below 5 million number with Turkey being the least liked country by the residents of the UK.
