Most countries offer two education systems from which parents can select the form of schooling which most suits their own child. Compare and contrast state-run and privately-owned schools in your country or in a foreign country.

All around the world, the education systems are consisted of a variety of options such as public and private schools avaliable for parents to choose. In my country, the vast majority of the parents choose the state-run schools because of their financial status. Other people prefer private-owned schools to get better education for their children.

To begin with, economy is an important factor when choosing the correct type of school. Many parents cannot afford to pay the school fee for private schools and as a result have to prefer the public schools. State-run institutions have many benefits for pupils. For example, they can meet a diversity of students who share the same economical situation. In this way, the bonds of the relationship get stronger than those in private schools. Another good example is saving money. Parents can enroll their children on other educational institutions if they think their children fall behind their peers on their school assignments.

On the other hand, private schools have also many benefits with several opportunities for students. Their academic teachers provide high quality education for pupils. Also, a variety of activities at school such as playgrounds, social clubs and so on are offered in many different areas when compared with those offered in public schools. Another good side of the private school is arranging free school trips to different historical and cultural areas. The only negative side of these schools is that the required fees are too high for a regular family.

To sum up, private and public schools have both different benefits and detriments. Public schools are good for saving money and good relationships for their children. However, private-owned schools involve plethora of options for students' education and different leisure activities for them.
